What is IFIE?
The International Forum for Investor Education — IFIE — is a unique alliance chartered in 2005 that brings together private sector and public sector providers of investor education to improve the effectiveness of investor education programs around the world.
The Forum serves as a clearinghouse for the exchange of information and ideas among providers of investor education from different jurisdictions, including organizations that are just developing or planning to develop investor education programs.

is to create and promote the highest possible standards for and the most efficient delivery of investor education around the globe.

is to help investors in all financial markets better understand the risks and opportunities associated with various types of investments and the investment process.

IFIE’s Goals
IFIE has been established as a non-commercial, private sector organization whose primary objective is to improve investor education on a worldwide basis so that consumers in all jurisdictions are able to make informed choices about financial products and investments.
IFIE’s Objectives
FIE will accomplish its objectives by providing extensive information on investor education initiatives in different countries, serving as a forum so that providers of investor education can learn first hand about investor education initiatives in different countries, and developing standards for the provision of investor education.
